General Purpose of the Job
As a Part Time Staff Pharmacist for SpectronRx, this position is responsible for the general surveillance over all activities involving radioactive material; ensuring compliance with NRC rules and regulations as well as the conditions of the NRC license by performing the following essential duties and responsibilities:
As a Staff Pharmacist, this Staff Pharmacist is responsible for the safety and training of all employees. Maintains supervision for facility/operations during assigned shift.

The Radiation Safety Officer should have the following:
Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers and the general public.
Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints form customers, regulatory agencies or members of the business community.
Ability to apply advanced mathematical concepts such as exponents, logarithms, quadratic equations, and permutations. Ability to apply mathematical operations to such tasks as frequency distributions, determination of test reliability and validity, analysis of variance, correlation techniques, sampling theory and factor analysis.
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables. Ability to apply principles of logical or scientific thinking to a wide range of intellectual and practical problems. Ability to deal with nonverbal symbolism (formulas, scientific equations, graphs, etc.) in its most difficult phases. Ability to deal with a variety of abstract and concrete variables.
Windows 98 or above. Proficient in MS Office. MS-DOS based pharmacy system by DuPont.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
Must be state licensed. Must receive or have documentation of receiving Nuclear Pharmacy Training (200 hrs Diadactic/500 Practical). Attend local SNM and AphA meetings.

Ability to lift 50-60 pounds on a regular basis.

There are no specific conditions affecting performance of this job. The noise level would be considered moderate for a business office with computers, printers, copiers, and light traffic. The position will often require more than forty hours of work per week. Individuals in this position will be exposed to radiation; however, radiation safety training and monitoring is required. Clean driving record and ability to travel to accounts and trade shows as necessary.
Strong management skills required. Strong interpersonal Staff Pharmacist skills for interacting with Physicians, customers, vendors and other Staff Pharmacist are required. Ability to problem-solve and handle customer service issues.
